London’s Cityx, the Future of Connected Places Business expo, has brought SMEs, thought leaders, businesses and cities working in 2 key areas – Housing and Mobility. We agree that the change in both is urgently needed.

This year we have joined these like-minded businesses and innovators at Connected Places Catapult on 13th of November. We are pleased we have got the chance to connect to the many opportunities in housing innovation and mobility solutions.

Innovations in Urban Planning

We have demonstrated some of our 30 city data exploitation tools and how we connect large 3D city models dataset. Overlaying static databases such as PTAL (below), all the way to live feed from traffic cameras. We have presented how we have made it easy for customers to connect their own databases, web resources and to display results of their studies and simulations.

Our big announcement was the fact that we are now making our platform open to any 3D model. Our subscribers will be able to import almost any 3D city model from any provider into the app and use the tools and database connections we have developed. And of course, they will be able to tweak and build on them.

3D London app Presentations

CityX was once again a great event, packed with informal meetings, individual surgeries for SMEs and cities and wide range of visitors from all over the UK and beyond. There was a lot of interest in our 3D Model of London and our 3D City app from wide-ranging audiences. We have made some really interesting connections, from possible data suppliers and innovators to future customers.
