Best Specialist 3D City Models Supplier – UK

AccuCities has been awarded the “Best Specialist 3D City Models Supplier – UK” at the prestigious BUILD’s Architecture Awards 2021. Supplying customers with over 2,000 accurate and detailed 3D city models in just over 4 years, AccuCities has been recognised as a key supplier to the architectural industry. We might not be the biggest, we might not be the cheapest but now we are officially the best.

Award-winning supplier of 3D city models

Winning its category at the Architecture Awards 2021 is very welcome news at the office. Speaking to the judges, Michal gave an impromptu lesson in humblebragging.

“I am over the moon for AccuCities winning the award,” said Michal Konicek, AccuCities co-founder and director. “Only last month we have delivered 95 projects with 0% error rate – for illustration, it took us first 6 months to produce that amount of projects. I am so impressed with what our small team is capable of. They are the best group of people I have ever worked with, but my praise for their work has understandably only very little value. The award is therefore a very appreciated industry recognition of all the dedication and attention to detail that our team is known for. And when BUILD Magazine is saying that we are officially the best specialist 3D city models supplier in the UK, I wholeheartedly agree. Well deserved.”

Customer-focused approach

By design, AccuCities offers a service that is very customer-focused. Much of the team’s work comes from returning customers who have incredibly strict requirements for the quality of their 3D models. They depend on the highest quality of accurate models to conduct their work to the high standards they set for themselves. We embrace the challenge of delivering 100% accurate data every single time. The information that the team captures is quick, cost-effective and easily implemented into a format that customers can use in their production pipeline.

“I completely agree with what Michal have said, this is great news for us and for our team,” said Sandor Petroczi, AccuCities co-founder and director. “They really are at the top of their game. Of course, we must also thank our clients; 8 out of 10 customers order from us more than once. It is this continued support that enables us to continue to develop our services and our 3D city models library.”

Over the years, AccuCities has been proud to deliver over 2,000 projects, with 3D context models for projects ranging from single-story house extensions to landmark skyscrapers. The use of digital 3D models has been a major benefit to many people over the last year and a half as it has enabled work to continue on various projects without the need for a physical site visit. 3D mapping agency of choice for Architects and Planners

Established in 2017, AccuCities is a London-based 3D mapping agency has rapidly become the supplier of choice to numerous parties in the architecture industry. Our team has captured an impressive library of different CAD city models, designed to have an accuracy of up to 15cm. With a collection that combines 3D models of cities such as London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin and Detroit, AccuCities can add an element of accurate context to a project as soon as at the proposal stage.

The need for 3D city models is nothing new, but what sets us apart is its ability to capture models with a level of detail and accuracy that is second to none. The team can capture 3D city models of major cities as well as small and medium-sized 3D models for architecture and planning all over the UK. In fact, their service offering has just reached the US as the team complete the capturing of their first overseas model of Detroit, MI.

Updating, upgrading & enlarging 3D city models

Moving forward, our job is to continue updating and upgrading the quality of its models. To this end, the team has just completed the texturing process of their 3D London model. This new dataset, already used by its data subscribers, will allow customers to see their proposed designs in an environment which is much more recognisable to the general public.
